New Love! Focus on Phileo (booklet format)

“Phileo” is the Greek word for one kind of love that we all need more of. God promises that we can experience it in relationships with him and with fellow Christians.

Our culture seems to be clueless about this kind of love, with harmful consequences. Teenagers and young adults are especially hurt by our world’s focus on “eros,” the sexual expression of romantic of love that God designed to be experienced only within the security of marriage.

This booklet grew out of my desire to help my children experience God’s better way of handling same-sex and especially opposite-sex relationships as they grew up. My hope was that they would be able to avoid some of the destructive effects of the way our culture approaches dating and marriage. In seeking God’s answers for them, I learned a lot for myself, too!
